This  page contains the free download of WPtools, the software developed to accompany Workshop Physics.    It allows students to use a custom toolbar to analyze data and create mathematical models in Excel spreadsheet format.  Versions are available for both Mac and PC systems.  Workshop Physics is an activity-based approach to teaching calculus-based introductory physics in which traditional lectures are replaced by student investigation and experimentation.  It was developed and class-tested by Priscilla Laws of Dickinson College and coworkers.

See Related Materials on this page for a link to the full instructional module on the topic of Oscillations, available at no cost.   A link to additional modules for a two-semester Calculus-based course, available for purchase through the publisher, is also found in Related Materials on this page.
