This item is a simulation on the electrostatic force between two opposite charges. The user can move the charges to see how the force between them changes in magnitude and direction. Students must determine the sign and magnitude of the charges.
This page is part of a collection of Java applets with tutorial questions designed for undergraduate physics students. See Related items on this page for additional simulations on electrostatics, plus the author's full collection of introductory physics applets.
