STP Coin Toss Program
written by Harvey Gould, Jan Tobochnik, Wolfgang Christian, and Anne Cox
The STP CoinToss program displays a histogram of the number of heads when many coins are tossed. The default number of coins tossed is 100 and the coins are fair (the probability of heads for a single coin is 0.5).

STP CoinToss is part of a suite of Open Source Physics programs that model aspects of Statistical and Thermal Physics (STP). The program is distributed as a ready-to-run (compiled) Java archive. Double clicking the stp_CoinToss.jar file will run the program if Java is installed on your computer.

Please note that this resource requires at least version 1.5 of Java.
