This web page is an interactive physics simulation relating to static friction in a spinning cylinder. It simulates an old amusement park ride called "Gravitron". Riders lined the interior wall of a large cylinder that starts to spin. When the rotational speed is sufficient, the floor drops away and the riders stay "pinned" to the wall.
