This collection of problems for introductory physics courses is designed to help students learn problem-solving skills. Each problem places physics into a real-world situation, with information that is both relevant and not relevant for the solution. The approach to solving the problem is not explicitly given. Topics include kinematics, forces, energy and momentum, rotation, heat, waves, electric fields and forces, circuits, and magnetic fields and forces. This work is based on the research results of the Minnesota Physics Education Research group.
