written by Walter Fendt
This simulation by Walter Fendt enables the user to investigate a carousel by changing variables and observing the resulting motion.  The simulation enables the user to visualize the forces involved and also indicates the direction of the net force.  Also, the user can change the period of the carousel, and watch the seats swing in or out accordingly.
