the PhET
This webpage contains an interactive simulation that is a schematic illustration of conduction in semiconductors. Users can create doped semiconductors and PN junctions and explore their behavior as a function of applied voltage. The simulation gives a representation of how the electron population created by doping results in physical properties of semiconductor devices.
