| Description: | Based on scholarship, potential and SPS participation, this award is intended for students who are transitioning from a two-year college into a physics bachelor's degree program. The scholarship is named in memory of Dr. Peggy A. Dixon, SPS and Sigma Pi Sigma Historian from 1992-2003, who was also an SPS Advisor at the Montgomery College for many years. Funded by donors of Sigma Pi Sigma, the physics honor society and the American Institute of Physics. |
