The AIAA Foundation funds a number of scholarships to both undergraduate- and graduate-level students. This furthers a key part of its mission: supporting the success of future aerospace professionals.

The AIAA Foundation's undergraduate scholarship program offers 30 scholarships of $2000 - $2500 to college sophomores, juniors, and seniors each year. All recipients can apply to renew their scholarship annually until they graduate. And through the annual graduate scholarship program, the AIAA Foundation presents ten graduate awards worth $5000 each and four graduate awards of $10,000 each.

Other Comments: You must be a member of this organization (Student membership is $20/year) to apply for scholarships and a full-time student.  Both undergraduate and graduate scholarships are offered, so please see the website for more details as they vary depending on the scholarship you apply for.    Applicants may be students of any nationality, not restricted by the U.S. State Department, in full-time study.

The undergraduate scholarship does require an essay of 500-1000 words (Career Goals). References and transcripts are also required.

The graduate scholarship requires a PDF of research outline of student's approved topic.
