| Other Comments: | Selection Process At least five students will be selected by professors in the Physics Department from the pool of qualified applicants and invited for an all-expenses-paid visit to Rhodes, at which time they will be interviewed for the Scholarship. Finalists for the Scholarship will be notified in late February and invited to interview on campus in early April, 2007. Scholarship Renewal The Scholarship will be renewed for three years provided the recipient: · maintains a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better; · meets the minimum satisfactory academic progress standards for renewal of financial aid; · is making satisfactory progress toward a major or minor in physics, as determined by the Physics Department; · provides five hours per week of service to the Physics Department. |
