| Description: | The Mitte Laureate is the premier scholarship at Texas State, and covers such expenses as tuition and fees, room and board, books, and other costs not generally provided for with a full-ride scholarship (e.g., internships, study abroad experiences, and a faculty mentor). To be considered for this scholarship, a student must at a minimum have earned an SAT/ACT score of 1300/30 and an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher. In addition, a student must meet one of the following criteria: Commended, semi-finalist, or finalist in the National Merit competition; or Top five percent of high school graduating class. |
