| Description: | QUICK FACTS: Our REU program is different from others around the country in that the goal is to arrive in enough time to allow adequate participation to complete enough research to merit co-authorship of a scientific paper. Experience has shown that an 8-week program cannot easily achieve this goal, and that an 11-week experience is the minimum stay. To that end, housing here at UF for the domestic REU program is made available for the longest period of time over the summer that we can arrange – approximately 5/10 to 8/10. STIPEND PACKAGES: approx. $7,000 France and South America; Domestic program slightly less. |
