| Description: | This interdisciplinary program challenges students to use the principles of science and engineering to aid in the mitigation of and recovery following natural hazards, such as Tsunamis, with a focus on ethical and humanitarian issues. Opportunties are open to students in Civil/Structural Engineering and Geosciences. Students perform 8 weeks of on-campus research followed by 2 weeks of field study. |
