| Description: | The NSF-sponsored SENSORS program supports undergraduates to work in research groups on hands-on sensors research from science to application in the areas of sensor need, recognition events, networking, and sensor application. During the 10-week summer residential program, students participate in research and ethics workshops, technical communications seminars, and field trips. U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have completed at least two years of college level classes are eligible. Two recommendation letters, an essay, and a copy of an official transcript are required. |
