| Description: | The NSF-sponsored DREAM program supports undergraduates to work in Nanomaterials, Biomaterials, and the Design and Processing of Advanced Materials. During the 10-week summer residential program, participants work in research teams with faculty, students, and teachers. Fellows participate in research seminars, demonstrations of cutting-edge research equipment, and field trips. U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have completed at least one semester of college level classes, or have been admitted to a college or university for undergraduate studies are eligible. Two recommendation letters, an essay, and a copy of an official transcript are required. |
