| Description: | As a participant, you will work with senior researchers to advance knowledge in membrane science and engineering. You will receive structured research training with mentors, participate in professional development activities designed to prepare you for graduate school, and be introduced to the larger scientific community by attending the North American Membrane Society meeting. Responsibilities include laboratory research, data analysis, and communication of findings. Social and team-building activities will help to build strong, long-lasting friendships. At the end of the program, you will present your research findings using a new, interactive 'virtual poster session' unique to this REU program. |
