| Description: | Teach For America is the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors and career interests who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools and become leaders in the effort to expand educational opportunity. Teach For America summer coordinators are charged with day-to-day management of the institutes and are paid hourly with a guaranteed salary range of $2,500-$3,000. Room, board, and a portion of travel expenses are also provided. Positions are available at each of our eight institutes in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and the Mississippi Delta. |
