| Description: | The Joint Educational Opportunities for Minorities (JEOM) Program places rising Junior and Senior students at Department of Defense (DoD) research facilities to work with DoD researchers on computation-intensive problems. The sites are located across the United States, notably in Alaska, Hawaii, California, Ohio, Washington, DC, and Maryland. The students will obtain a secret clearance as part of the application process. U.S. citizens only. Must also be a member of an underrepresented group in STEM. Includes women and persons with disabilities. |
