| Description: |
The CRISP REU fellowship program provides students with the opportunity to conduct team-based interdisciplinary research. During the course of this eight-week research program, fellows will be conducting research under the advisement of university faculty and graduate students.
Eligibility: This program is open to highly motivated undergraduate students who have completed their junior year, although consideration is given to exceptionally well qualified underclassmen. Minorities, women and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Research Topics: Students have the opportunity to do research in the following areas: electron-, magnetic force-, and atomic force microscopy of nanomaterials, electronic and optical properties of nanotubes and nanowires, electrical and microstructural characterization of semiconductor devices, synthesis of materials at the atomic scale etc. |
