Description: We are pleased to announce summer research opportunities for undergraduates in science and engineering in (1) self-assembly of soft materials, (2) mechanical properties of thin films,  (3) imaging electrons in nanoscale materials, and (4) development of materials and tools for biology.  This NSF-funded REU Site in Materials Science and Engineering is based on the ongoing research of the Center for Imaging and Mesoscale Structures at Harvard University.  The 10-week program includes social and professional development activities.  Students receive a stipend, housing and travel allowance.
