| Description: | This NSF-REU program is aimed at students who are interested in Physics and/or Astronomy and who may have potential for future graduate study. Research areas include experimental and theoretical projects in condensed matter physics, atomic and molecular physics, particle physics and astrophysics. While some background is of course needed, we are interested in hearing from any motivated and talented student in the sciences. You must be a US citizen or permanent resident of the US or its possessions, must be currently enrolled in a program leading to a Bachelor's degree, and must not have graduated by the summer of 2009.
