| Description: | The NSF engineering Research Center for Mid-InfraRed Technologies for Health & the Environment is focused on providing students with the opportunity to carry out reasearch in the forefront of mid-IR spectroscopu and engineering. MIRTHE advances turnable laser sources, quantum cascade lasers, dectors and ultra-sensitive sensor systems and demonstrating specific applications through testbeds in environmental sensing, homeland secruity and medical diagnostics. |
