| Description: | Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Program - co-sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the National Science Foundation (NSF). SURF students work for 12 weeks, contributing to an ongoing research project under the guidance of a NIST scientist or engineer from one of the following laboratories : Physics, Manufacturing Engineering, Building and Fire Research, Chemical Sciences and Technology, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Materials Science and Engineering. |
