| Description: | The program, "Characterization of Advanced Materials,'' allows students who range from freshmen to seniors to experience the world of full-time research. In addition to exposing the students to cutting-edge research in materials science, the projects, lasting 9 weeks, will result in several of the students presenting their work at conferences and becoming co-authors on technical publications. In the past six years, more than 75 students from around the country have participated. |
