| Description: | Research in Industrial Projects ("RIPS") for Students is a 9-week, intensive, applied mathematics research experience. Industrial sponsors provide research projects and oversight. IPAM provides office space, computer and computing assistance and UCLA faculty mentors to work with each project team. Students learn how to develop a work plan, do literature searches, research design and methodology, and presentation skills. |
