| Description: | Six to eight sophomore and junior students with science and chemistry backgrounds participate in the intensive 10-week program. The REU program provides students with: -Laboratory experience while working on a research project with a MRSEC faculty member. -Opportunity to observe and learn how research is performed at other laboratories through tours of neighboring government and industrial laboratories. -Diverse range of research topics and a seminar series. -Professional guidance on how to conduct oral and poster presentations. The Program runs from June 1 – August 5, 2005 |
