| Description: | The Carthage Institute of Astronomy operates an observatory and a planetarium near its campus in Kenosha, WI, and invites groups of all ages to visit our facilities and enjoy programs. The Institute also conducts astronomy outreach programs during the summer in northern New England in a partnership with the Appalachian Mountain Club. These programs emphasize the physical connection among people, the natural environment, and the Universe at large, and already engage thousands of people at AMC facilities throughout New Hampshire. |
