I havent noticed any pattern at my university physics
department from where we get our caffeine from. I've noticed
in the computer science department that Dr. Pepper seems to
hold true.

Where does the caffeine in your physics department come
from?

Mountain Dew for me, but most of the students at UofL get theirs from the coffee pot in the copy room.

I think in my department it's about equally split between Dr. Pepper and Coke.  Not many students seem to have discovered the joy of coffee.

I agree with you about the dangers of caffeine.  Fortunately I seem to have a constitution that is not that sensitive to it (maybe decreased sensitivity due to years of coffee drinking).  I try to limit myself to 3 cups in the morning, and  cup in the afternoon if I'm really dragging.
