Unbelievably, there are 5 regional student
physics meetings around the country this
weekend---FIVE! SPS members in Zones
2,3,4,8, and 17 will be meeting to hear
research talks, share outreach experiences,
and reflect on career advice. And on top of
that, there are three zone meetings next
weekend in zones 6, 10 and 18...the eight
meetings together cover the east coast, mid
and deep south and the far west---meaning
that most physics undergraduates are within
reasonable driving distance of a zone
meeting either this weekend or next.
Here's a link giving some details and
contacts for these meetings, and also to
past SPS zone meetings.

Hi,
I just found out that the Zone 6 meeting, which was originally scheduled for April 16-18 at University of Alabama has been postponed until the fall---October 22-24---something about getting a Nobel prize winner to speak...sorry for the misinformation earlier.
