Now, I realize that some will say swimming because of the fluid dynamics, but they are simply wrong. |

I like beach volleyball best (like Lyle), but it's hard to beat baseball as the most physics-y, especially since whole books are devoted to the topic (see Robert K Adair's, The Physics of Baseball)...and where is basketball? it's got some physics... NSF Program Director (on assignment from the AIP and the Society of Physics Students to serve as the Robert Noyce Scholarship Program Director at the National Science Foundation) |
