I think I would put "Contact" here...mainly because I love how Jodie Foster comes across as a serious accomplished scientist who worries about finding a "killer dress"...but I reserve the right post an addendum!

Thank you, Mr. White for posting your favorite physics movie. It is nice that it stars a female scientist. :-)

My favorite physics movie was constructed by my chemistry teacher. It contained a lot of chemistry, but there was some really great physics in it too. She also explained why some scify shows are based on physics that is not really physics! LOL

In my opinion, the best science fiction show is Star Gate Atlantis, with Star Gate SG1 running a close second. I enjoy the MIB (Men In Black) movies too. Space Cowboys is really really good. It is one of the movies you could watch repeatedly and never have to put it down from boredom.

Thank you for all you have done for Sigma Pi Sigma. While I will miss your emails, I know you will have an amazingly positive impact for Science in the new position you recently accepted. My college does not have a Sigma Pi Sigma Chapter. I tried to start one, but the Physics Professor did not support it. The availability to belong to Sigma Pi Sigma has been a true valued blessing over the past few years. It has kept me close to my physics. Thank you for that.

Best always,
cyndi
