Our institution has a commitment to creating quality teachers in all disciplines.  We currently do not have physics education majors, but do have science education majors who are taking physical science courses, including physics.  Some of these teachers will teach physics at grade levels from first grade through middle school.  Our institution has a commitment to training teachers to the highest standards, and we believe or involvement in the PTEC would further this institutional goal.
