Current efforts include offering B.A. and B.S. undergraduate degrees in physics and some students choosing a path in physics education. Other efforts include promoting careers in physics education by recruiting and retention of majors with this explicit goal. NSF STEM Talent Expansion Program to improve our long-term retention and graduation rates of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) majors. We are active in our local Noyce Scholars program and have invited talks by science education specialists in our seminar series.
