Teacher education activities:

• offer virtual university classes (PHY231c and PHY232c), in which several in service high school teacher enroll each year to deepen their  physic subject knowledge.
• offer the Physics of Atomic Nuclei (PAN) residential two-week summer program for high school physics teachers
• partner with (currently) 59 high schools as part of the the lon-capa course management and homework system project. (http://loncapa.org/).  MSU is the lead institution, and a list of partner institutions is at http://loncapa.org/institutions.html
