Numerous faculty members in the department are currently involved with studies of physics pedagogy and also work on developing inquiry-based activities for teachers. The faculty members frequently host workshops for teachers to introduce them to materials that can be used in their classrooms. In addition, Pitt-Greensburg is developing an education major and the physics faculty are working closely with the education faculty to ensure that future teachers are trained in inquiry-based techniques.
