FAU currently has a Bachelors of Arts in Education with a Major in Physics Education in our catalog. However, this has not been utilized, even by students that would like to become secondary science education teachers. We would like to readdress this program for maximum flexibility. In addition, FAU is in the process of reaching out to teachers in the community. We feel that this not only works for better marketing of our department to students, but it also gives us a way to impact the quality of students that come to us later in time.
