| Benefit Explanation: | The institute is funded in part by Corning, Inc. Each workshop is free, including lunches. Housing is available in newly constructed air-conditioned dormitories (cost $154/week). Apartment-style: two bedrooms with a shared bathroom & common living-dining space. Contact Greg Carson for details. Workshops may also be taken for four (4) graduate credits at regular tuition rates. The nearest airport is at Corning/Elmira Regional Airport, NY (45 miles away). |

[Offered in summer 2013: Prerequisite for the advanced curriculum development course are three weeks of Modeling Workshop in the respective subject (physics or chemistry) and a year of implementation.] |
