| Description: | The Center on Polymer Interfaces and Macromolecular Assemblies (CPIMA) seeks qualified K-12 science teachers to participate in a 8-week summer research experience (RET) program. The RET program allows teachers to work on independent research projects. Participants will work in a scientific laboratory performing cutting edge research at Stanford University Tues.-Fri. On Mon., teachers will get together with other teachers on campus for faculty talks, lab tours, and sharing of best practices and ways to bring their experiences back to their classrooms. Teachers will present their research on a poster and will be required to develop an education transfer plan. |
