| Description: | Grade 6-12 teachers will: * Expand their content knowledge and develop inquiry-based teaching modules/lessons * Enhance their professional & leadership skills and portfolio * Network with colleagues, mentors, and laboratory staff * Receive mini-grants to aquire key materials and to attend educator conferences/workshops * Receive an $800 weekly summer stipend; Housing available to out-of-area teachers * Experience multi-year and year-long activities * Get plugged into the R & D enterprise of the laboratory with access to world-class tools, research, scientists, and engineers. A full three-year participation is required in either program – including the summer and the academic year. |
