2010 Physics Teacher Education Coalition Conference Logistics
Dates and Location
The 2010 PTEC Conference will take place in Washington, DC and will run 9:00am to 8:00pm on Friday, February 12 and 8:30am to 3:30pm on Saturday, February 13. All conference events will be held at the Omni Shoreham.

The Omni Shoreham is one block away from the Marriott Wardman Park, where the APS and AAPT meetings will be held. If you are interested in finding another conference attendee with whom to share a room at the Omni, please email Gabe Popkin and indicate what nights you are staying.
Internet
The Omni provides complimentary high-speed Internet service in all guestrooms. You must sign up for their Select Guest program.
Meals
Your conference registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon breaks, and receptions on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Dinner is on your own on all days. There are a large number of restaurants within walking distance of the Omni.
Transportation
Washington, DC is served by three airports: Reagan National, Baltimore-Washington International (BWI), and Dulles. Public transportation is available from National and BWI. The Omni Shoreham is located less than two blocks from the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan station on the Red Line of the Washington Metro system.
