This interactive ThinkQuest website provides an introduction to sound.  The
site includes topics such as how we perceive sound, the physics of sound,
and applications of sound used in real life.  A timeline presents the
history of sound-related technology and the interactive sound lab provides
several applets to experiment with the topics discussed.
