About the Physics FrontThe Physics Front is a web-based area for teachers of Conceptual, AP and Algebra-based physics as well as teachers of Physics First and Physical Science. This material is meant to serve as resources to enrich the high school physics experience. The materials, found in this collection, have been selected (and are continuously being updated by the Editor and the Editorial Board), as being quality resources for use in lesson plans, activities, labs and demonstrations. The featured items are not meant to be definitive, merely representative of possible good resources available; additional materials are available on the Physical Sciences Resource Center (PSRC) and the other collections in ComPADRE. More detailed searches are also available, including General and Specific topics, Resource Type, and Grade Level. Searching also allows users to search other ComPADRE collections, including the PSRC. Further information available about the Physics Front resources includes Lesson Plans, Activities, Labs and In-services. In addition, links to related materials are displayed with descriptions of how the items are related which is provided to enhance the quality and usability of the featured resources.Users of the Physics Front are encouraged to participate by submitting good materials, making comments, and building personal collections in the file cabinet area of things found to be most useful. Although anyone may search the database, participation requires the user to register an account, which is free and requires only a name and email address.
