This interactive Java simulation is used to demonstrate properties of the vector cross product, which is used to describe torque and magnetic forces.  It allows students to control two vectors and observe their cross product in three-dimensions, as well as to view the cross product from different vantage points by spinning the plane in which A and B lie.  A separate pop-up window provides numerical values for the vectors.

Please note that this resource requires Java Applet Plug-in.
