This simulation shows the motion of a test charge along an x-axis due to two fixed charges, and a graph of the corresponding Coulomb force.  Standard controls allow the user to start, pause, restart from pause, step, and reset the animation.  A detailed description as well as questions are provided.

This is part of a large collection of Physlet-based (Physics Java Applet) illustrations and tutorials covering introductory physics.
