The Physics Front website will be unavailable Friday evening through Saturday afternoon as electrical work occurs in the American Center of Physics server room. Down time will begin at 6PM Eastern Time on Friday. Service is expected to resume by 6PM on Saturday, July 30.
This web site contains a collection of interactive java simulations for physics. Each simulation includes a detailed explanation of the physics and math behind the system. Most are demonstrations of oscillators, but there are also games related to basic principles of force. Included are the double pendulum, simple pendulum, simple spring, molecular vibration and a chaotic pendulum. The page also links to movies relating to fluid-dynamics and reaction-diffusion.
