This is a collection of interactive challenges designed to help students understand new content and then apply newly-learned concepts in game-like activities. There are ten modules related to science education, including Amusement Park Physics, DNA, Ecology Lab, The Periodic Table and Atoms, Statistics, Garbage, Dynamic Earth, and more.
Editor's Note Many of these interactive modules incorporate PBL (Problem-Based Learning) strategies, in which students are expected to relate content to real-life situations and solve a problem. The purpose is to actively engage students in constructing their own knowledge. The instructor's role is that of facilitator.
