AAPT Announcer
Teaching Motion Concepts Using MBL's with One Computer
written by John Van-Aalst
The materials developed by Thornton, Laws, Sokoloff, and others, are intended for teaching situations where one computer station is available for every lab group of three to four students.  We have used these materials with only one computer for a large high school class and achieved a level of learning that compares favorably with that reported by Thornton (see Amer. J. Phys. 58, pp. 858-67).
