This Physlet-based simulation features four electrical charges fixed at the corners of a square. Users must identify the net electric force by observing the blue charge being dragged at constant speed along two possible paths A -> B or B -> A.
This simulation is part of a larger collection of Physlet-based illustrations and tutorials developed for introductory physics. SEE RELATED ITEMS on this page for links to three closely related Physlets that also feature four fixed electrical charges in the same configuration. Please note that this resource requires Java Applet Plug-in.
