Video Analysis with Tracker: TPT Package
written by Douglas Brown and Anne Cox
Video Analysis with Tracker: TPT Package contains several video analysis and modeling experiments from introductory physics as described in "Innovative Uses of Video Analysis" The Physics Teacher, 2009. It is distributed as a ready-to-run (compiled) Java archive containing the Tracker video analysis application, movies, models and instructionsa which can be modified by the user. Tracker, a video analysis program with dynamical modeling, is an Open Source Physics tool.

Please note that this resource requires at least version 1.5 of Java (JRE).

I just downloaded the TPT package but when I try to run a simulation I receive a message saying that the .mov file was not found.
How can I solve this problem?

Thanks for your help.

This is the solution that seemed to work for Diego Racero:

Please note that the tracker_tpt.jar must be able to create a folder and then put the .mov files in that folder on your computer. Is it possible that your computer is protected in such a way that it does not allow files to write to the computer? If this is the case, you may be able to "unzip" the file (it is a java archive that can be unpacked just like a compressed ZIP file) and then run the tracker_tpt.jar file. Then if Tracker can't find the .mov files, you can point Tracker to the appropriate file in the newly unzipped "movies" folder on your computer.
