Workshop Physics is an activity-based approach to teaching calculus-based introductory physics in which traditional lectures are replaced by student investigation and experimentation. This item is the full module on the topic of Oscillations. See Related Materials on this page for free download of WPtools, the software developed to accompany Workshop Physics. It allows students to customize data for creating mathematical models in Excel spreadsheet format.
Workshop Physics was developed and class-tested by Priscilla Laws of Dickinson College and coworkers. A link to the full set of modules for a two-semester Calculus-based course, available for purchase through the publisher, is found in Related Materials on this page.
